Museums + Galleries

The best way to know what's going on in the art world is to actually visit the work in person.  Whether it's visiting your favorite works of art from history, or seeing what's going on in the Richmond art scene, it's imperative to see the work in person to understand it.  The students of DRHSART are highly encouraged to attend the local museums and galleries as often as possible,  and are asked to take notes on not only the work they see, but also the way it is exhibited   Our students are asked to become aware of the typography, layout, lighting,  and organization of the galleries they see, as it will inform their own exhibitions.
