What Level Can You Reach?

The 2016-2017 School year introduced a new learning platform for Henrico County Public Schools called "Schoology". This new platform, with its many tools, provides a number of benefits to the students of our county.  The platform even has a built in badge system that allows teacher to treat the classroom as a video game-like experience in which students can achieve a variety of icons that represent the levels of achievement within specific programs.  

When we saw the potential of these new features, we decided to invented a level system  to help students identify and understand the values and achievements possible among high school artists.   Many of these levels are unique to our program, but some are universal among high school art programs. 

As we began to develop these iconographic levels, we organized them into a hierarchy of most difficult and easiest to achieve.  Our hope is to inform students of the possible achievement levels, and encourage them to collect them all.   Those who collect all of the icons will be exceptional, and are certain to earn scholarship opportunities into our nation's most coveted schools for art and design.
