| Instamadness 2018 Theme is WATER Each March, the DRHSART program takes advantage of Social Media, and host a school-wide Instagram contest. Posters are put up around the school with information and QR codes that take students directly to the Instagram ad for the contest. The students are given three weeks to submit work by tagging their Instagram images with our given theme that year. Once submitted, the Art and Photography departments combine forces to jury the hundreds of images that are entered. To make the contest even more interesting and relevant, we have modeled our competition after the March Madness tournament. The top 64 images from all of the entries are chosen and ranked according to their “seed” in the tournament. Then, an interactive bracket that models the NCAA tournament is created and kept up to date each day. The theme for 2018 was chosen by students in a poll, and the theme that was most desired is "WATER". So, get your phones out, and start noticing your environment. Submit your photos to the contest by tagging them with #instamadnesss18 Interactive bracket begins on March 15th Students are limited to four posts, and the final day to enter is March 10th. We will post the winning image on all of our social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), and a special banner will be designed for the official DRHSART site to promote the contest winner's IG feed.
